Increase Lockdown Productivity

During ordinary times, our commute in the mornings, our trip to the cafe for lunch, coming back home in the evenings and perhaps organised evening classses etc, form natural breaks for us and divide our day. This allows us to be productive and gives our day structure.

Our day is firmly split by these sections. Now we are overwhelmed with x amount of hours in the morning and it is very easy for unscheduled breaks to end up taking much longer than we initially expected. Watching youtube click bait videos and scrolling on social media for extended periods of times. Sometimes close to an hour. We really need to cut these down to increase our productivity.

We can still have breaks but maybe if we schedule them around a structured day with a plan on everything we want to do e.g. 1 hour reading, 1 hour researching this and 30 mins exercising, then we can structure our day around these activities. Breaks will naturally form in between.

This will really allow us to increase our productivity and give us a sense of purpose during this lockdown period.
